Abstract

This article explores the synergistic relationship between traditional library skills and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the evolving field of librarianship. Emphasizing the transformative potential, the paper highlights how librarians, equipped with foundational skills, can leverage ICT to propel libraries into the forefront of information access, preservation, and dissemination. Practical insights, case studies, and strategic considerations are presented, offering a roadmap for librarians navigating the digital frontier.
