It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we present to you the maiden edition of Ekete. This momentous occasion marks the culmination of our collective efforts to establish a dynamic platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research and the advancement of scholarly discourse.

The name of the journal Ekete, derives from an Igbo word akin to ‘basket’ where the former transcends its English equivalent by embodying a profound symbolism of unity and collaboration and reflecting our core ethos of fostering multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research. Imagine Ekete then as a lighthouse, guiding a global community of thinkers, where we all join hands to tackle the big questions of our time.

As we celebrate this significant milestone, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, and editorial board members whose unwavering dedication and scholarly contributions have been instrumental in making this inaugural volume a resounding success.  Moving forward, we remain steadfast in our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, integrity, and academic rigor.
