FACTORS AFFECTING TEACHERS’ EFFECTIVENESS IN CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT AMONG PRESCHOOLERS IN PUBLIC PRESCHOOLS IN RIVERS EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT

Abstract


The success of preschoolers is greatly anchored on classroom management. This paper therefore, sought to determine the relationship between play and development of entrepreneurial skills in public care centres in Rivers East Senatorial District. Three research questions. The study adopted the survey research design. The population of the study was made up 1,000 teachers. The sample size for the study is 100 teachers. Questionnaire was the instrument was for data collection which was validated by three experts. The reliability of the instrument was 0.64. Simple percentage was used to analyze the data generated. Findings revealed that there were significant influences among teachers’ qualification, motivation and use of instructional materials and classroom management.
