Ekete was founded in 2023 by a consortium of esteemed scholars from Imo State University (IMSU) and Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana (AIFPU) with the vision of creating a robust platform for disseminating advanced research from a diverse range of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research articles. Ekete came as an aftermath of a one-day seminar/workshop organised by the Centre for Research and Development of the Department of Social Sciences AIFPU with the theme: Research Ethics adn Collaborative Publication held in June 27, 2023. Ekete is committed to publishing high-qualiity, peer-reviewed research across various disciplines in the academia, fostering a global community of scholars and researchers who will play a pivotal role in shaping contemporary research in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
